Steve Eikanger
President and CEO
Steve Eikanger rose to President and CEO of Flintco, LLC, in just four years since joining the company in 2018. Prior to joining Flintco, Steve gained 25 years of industry experience with leadership roles in Operations, Preconstruction, Construction Technology and Lean/Integrated approaches to project delivery. His professional background and insight enhance the foundation of our business and supports Flintco’s vision statement: The unwavering pursuit of the perfect construction experience.
Among his many duties, Steve is also responsible for leading company-wide strategy and driving Operational Excellence. Steve said he chose Flintco, because he “wanted to join a company that has the same drive as I do to improve our industry. Flintco has it.”
He is dedicated to the principles of our Flintco 4 LIFE safety program: a culture based on care for others, recognizing and rewarding positive safety behaviors, and sharing best practices throughout our industry. Steve is passionate about continuous improvement and respect for others – the foundation of our Lean journey that we call Lean2.0® that continues to deliver measurable results for our clients by capturing efficiencies, delivering enhanced quality, and providing more schedule and budget certainty.
Steve is active in our industry and in his community. He is on the Advisory Board for the University of Colorado Denver’s Construction Engineering and Management program, the Safety Week Executive Committee, and the Construction Industry Roundtable (CIRT). He is also a member of the Foundation Impact Team at Castle Rock Adventist Hospital in Castle Rock, Colorado.
Steve relocated to Colorado in 1997 after earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Engineering from Iowa State University. While the skiing has tapered off some, he continues to enjoy traveling and the outdoors with his wife and two daughters.
