Scott’s “role up your sleeves” style was formed as a carpenter banging nails while in college at Texas A&M University. Following graduation, Scott moved to California where notably, he built the Big Rock Ranch project for Lucasfilm, Ltd. The high-finish Frank Lloyd Wright certified-design prairie-style addition to Skywalker Ranch which was built near the location where a famous scene was filmed that featured the “Ewoks” from the 1983 classic Return of the Jedi. He gained valuable experience working in multiple markets, including Medical, Office, Entertainment and High-Tech.

Scott returned home to Central Texas in 2006 to be closer to family. He used his construction management experience to begin a second career in real estate development focusing on medical related projects. In 2011, Scott started a privately held real estate investment, advisory and development firm in Austin. He also has held the position of Vice President – Division Manager at another large national general contractor.

“Building is a passion of mine,” Scott said. “I have been blessed to have experienced both sides of the business. Real estate development is where you create a new vision and excitement around a project and implement it. Construction is where you see the fruits of your labor.” Scott was recognized in 2014 by both Building Design + Construction and Engineering News Record as a leader in our industry with two prestigious “Under 40” awards.

Scott and his family live in Driftwood, TX, where he enjoys spending time with his wife and teenage children – watching his kids play sports, serving at church, volunteering, hunting, fishing, being outdoors and spending time working at his family ranch and Driftwood property.
