McDonald Farms - Franklin Street Terminal

The replacement facility for McDonald Farms is rising up along the banks of the South Platte River, making room for the CSU Veterinary Science program at the National Western Center. Working with PENTA Engineering, Flintco built a new transloading facility to support truck/rail trans-loading and unloading as well as short-term commodity storage. Flintco installed the foundations, lime and soda ash silos and the Bio-fuel tanks along with structural steel and process piping. Also included in the scope of work a biodiesel system equipment, a hot water generator, pneumatic conveying system equipment and piping, and dust collectors.
